GoTriangle held interactive workshops on Tuesday, April 24 or Thursday, April 26 from 6-8 p.m. to review what we learned during two recent public design workshops. Attended had opportunities weigh in on elements of visual design for the new light rail system.

The goal of the workshop was to gain input and feedback from the public on elements of the visual design, look, and feel of the light rail system. All members of the community were invited to participate in either workshop. The content of each workshop was the same and the workshop lasted the full two hours.

Participate Online

If residents were unable to make the meeting in person, there were opportunities to participate online at: lightrailonline.com. people were able to provide input online through May 11, 2018.

Special Accomodations

If attendees needed special accommodations such as translation or interpretation, they were encouraged to contact GoTriangle at 919.485.7572 five day before the meeting to make arrangements.

GoTriangle held an interactive workshop on January 16th from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Hayti Heritage Center in Durham and on February 20 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Extraordinary Ventures in Chapel Hill to explore the aesthetic design of the light-rail project.

The goal of the workshop was to gain input and feedback from the public on elements of the visual design, look, and feel of the light rail system. January 31, 2018 | Operations Facility Workshop

Workshop Summary

To support the new light rail system, GoTriangle will build an operations and maintenance facility between I-40 and Farrington Road between Durham and Chapel Hill.

Interested residents, in the immediate vicinity, were invited to Creekside Elementary School’s gym on Wednesday, Jan. 31 between 6:30 and 8:30 p.m. to learn more about the facility and share feedback on its future appearance.

November 15th & 28th, 2017

Meeting Summary

GoTriangle held a neighborhood meeting focusing on the Rail and Operations Maintenance Facility (ROMF).

The first meeting was held on November 15, 2017 at Rogers-Herr Middle School, located at 911 W Cornwallis Rd, Durham, NC 27707.

The second meeting was held on November 28th, 2017 at Creekside Elementary School, located at 5321 Ephesus Road, Durham, NC 27707.

GoTriangle staff were present to take comments and questions, and gave presentations at 6:30pm and 7:30pm. Both presentations contained the same information.
